Babies are most vulnerable just after birth. They pick up infections easily or may be born with certain congenital conditions. Every new mother needs to know what to look out for and when the condition of the baby is serious. A list of fairly common infant diseases and newborn diseases encountered just after the baby’s birth and in infancy are listed below. The list is not exhaustive and refers to problems that are fairly common in children.
